Ventura Systems has given itself the mission to help top performers generating their best performance. This time, Ventura Systems takes a closer look at the current Mercedes-AMG E 63 S. The strategy is well-known and always works out: The performance tuning box Chiptuning RX are guarantees for more engine power and better acceleration.
The current Mercedes-AMG E 63 S (W 213) sets standards in terms of engine performance already in its delivery state. The powerhouse has a 4-liter V8 biturbo right from the AMG GT, so the W213 has a sports car’s DNA. The Mercedes-AMG E 63 S uses the standard four-wheel drive 4Matic+ for power transmission. It generates 612 hp and 850 Nm (627 lb ft) of torque on the road.
Tuning for the Mercedes-AMG with a performance tuning box
The “electronic final touch” succeeds with Ventura’s tuning box Chiptuning RX in a few easy steps. The performance box is connected with the engine management’s central sensors and is immediately active after its installation. The latest generation of the multi-map technology developed by Ventura Systems enables the optimization of up to nine channels.
The power tuning box PowerControl RX now produces 681 hp (+69 hp) and 950 (+100 Nm) within the V8 AMG engine. The Mercedes-AMG E 63 S secures its first place in the HP charts with the tuning of DTE Systems. The competition from BMW M5 (600 hp), Audi RS 6 performance (605 hp) to Cadillac CTS -V (649 hp) must now be satisfied with the places at the lower end of the ranking.
The growth rates in power and torque are remarkable and the way of its generation alike: The Mercedes-AMG produces significantly more thrust in an effortless way. That means a superior power development for an even more dynamic and sporty-ambitious AMG driving.
